Not Quite A Hero
A small webcomic by a small guy
Not Quite a Hero is a mini webcomic I'm writing, following Betty on her adventures through an entire world she never expected to find.
Humor, pain, love, and guilt are all in this comic.Synopsis:
Aquitrium had seen a long period of peace and prosperity, with each faction agreeing to keep the peace. This peace, however was broken when a sudden rebellion against the queens rule and resulted in riots and violence among citizens. Nobody knows who or what caused it, but from the dark storms forming in the seas, it can't be good.
Can Betty conjure up the heroic persona people paint on her? Or will she crumble to the hands of her greatest enemy — herself?

Aquitrium
Aquitrium is medium small planet housing all kinds of territories. Ranging from frozen mountain tops in Nevisia to the steaming water in The Boiler, it has it all.
Nevisia
Nevisia is one of the main divisions of the world, being led by Queen Eira. It has large snowy peaks, and accumulates large amounts of snow each year. Pine forests surround the towns of the land, shining strong and green against the blank ground. Most people from Nevisia find themselves in a scholarly field of work, due to the large funding and curriculum of their schools.
Everpyre
Everpyre is one of the main divisions of the world, led by Queen Delilah. The rocky terrain may seem unwelcoming to some, but to the residents in Everpyre, it's home. The temperatures stay high and dry, but gains high humidity after rainfall. The bottoms of the land are marshy and muddy, housing some of the more reptillian residents. Two dormant volcanoes peak the top of the land, and are occasionally used for some mining expeditions. Most civilians from Everpyre find themselves in the mining field, working with the Metal Arms Industry.
Parnalla
Parnalla is one of the main divisions of the world, being led by Queen Oliver. The majority of the land is covered in varying greenery–trees, shrubs, moss, etc. Most citizens from Parnalla are very much team workers, always extending hands to build and protect others. They find themselves in hands on workplaces, ranging from building to gardening, and to fishing and farming. They produce most of the food goods to the other lands. Towards the edges of land, it gets much marshier, water, mud, and swamps, creating a murky border to prevent invading ships from getting near the land. History books show records of the land previously being much larger, and having sunken over time.
The Boiler
The Boiler is a large land mass on the planet, and is hit by the most sun yearly, causing high temperatures. Despite the intense heat, people from Everpyre have been training to withstand the temperatures, to allow their bodies to be able to mine the resourceful minerals there. Recently, the MAI has been creating robots who can handle the jobs, to try and minimize the losses of lives due to heat in this area.
The Ocean
The cool breeze sweeps over your face as you sail near Nevisia, navigating around the icebergs. A drop of sweat falls down your brow as you sail near Everpyre, steam humming softly in the air. You call your crew to swerve around the marshes near Parnalla.
The oceans connect the entire world into one spot, water travel being the only way to get from land to land. F.F Enterprise runs a company, running boat trips to and from each of the islands at cheap prices. What a steal!
F.F.E
The FFE (Fisher Family Enterprise) is ran by, well, the Fisher family! They practically control the sea, with how influential their business is. They sail the ships to and from lands, shipping cargo and citizens.
It's mainly ran by 5 people. Rio, Michael, Marina, Wallace, and their father still needs a name oops. Their finances and whatnot are ran by their uncle.
THE MAI
The MAI (Metal Arms Industry) is the primary mining industry in the world. It is an elite group, requiring strict training and intense preparations.
They work mainly in The Boiler, and have recently begun producing robots to attempt to quicken the job and lower human losses.
